Subdiaconate and Tonsure – January 2011
On January 29th of this year, the His Excellency Fabian Bruskewitz of Lincoln conferred the tonsure and subdiaconate upon several men at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary.
2010 Sung Mass Priestly Training Workshop
The FSSP is hosting a training session for priests to learn the “Sung Mass” in the Extraordinary Form. It will take place June 21st – 25thth, 2010.
Priestly Ordination Conferred
December 19th, 2009 – Priestly Orders will be conferred on Rev. Mr. Jose Zepeda, FSSP by Bishop Salvatore Cordileone.
Minor Orders to be Conferred
Tonsures and Subdeacon in Denton will be conferred by His Exc. Mgr. Fabian Bruskewitz, Bishop of Lincoln.
Extraordinary Carmelites to Start Foundation in Elysburg
The new community will be founded from the Carmel of Jesus, Mary and Joseph of Valparaiso, Neb which has the extraordinary form of the mass. They come to the Diocese of Harrisburg because of a constant increase of vocations to their monastery that has caused crowding.
