Traditional Latin Mass Training WorkshopThe Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter will soon be holding a workshop for priests desiring to learn to say the Traditional Latin Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Denton, Nebraska.

Low Mass Workshop
18-22 May 2015 (Monday – Friday)
Cost: $400

Each workshop comprises a five-day residential course including both classroom sessions and practical hands-on instruction. All instruction, training materials, meals, and room & board at the seminary are provided.

The Low Mass workshop includes:

  • A comprehensive introduction to the Extraordinary Form of the Mass and its liturgical principles
  • An overview of the 1962 Roman Missal and liturgical calendar
  • A complete explanation and demonstration, with practical hands-on instruction, in the ceremony of Low Mass according to the 1962 Roman Missal
  • Tips and strategies for gaining proficiency in Latin
  • An introduction to Sung Mass and Gregorian Chant

Established in June 2007, the Priest Training Program of the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter has provided personal training for over 130 priests in 72 different dioceses in North America. Over 80% of participants in this program are now saying the Extraordinary Form on a regular basis.
